New York City Dog Photography | Charlie the Bulldog

Those of you who know me, know that I am a sucker for bulldogs.  Anything with that many wrinkles and an underbite makes me melt.  Today I met the second cutest dog in all the world, Charlie the Bulldog.  I have to say second otherwise George will get jealous.  Charlie is 5 months old and lives with her Mom, Siobhan, and Dad, Steve, in Jersey City, NJ.  She's such a sweetie pie and I'm in love with her little teeth.  I hope her Mom and Dad take me up on the dog sitting offer sometime!

All the bits that make up this gorgeous dog...

New York City Dog Photographer | Fernando & Vincenzo

This afternoon I got to hang with two of my favorite dogs, Fernando & Vincenzo.  Vincenzo is still a puppy with quite a lot of energy, so it was a challenge to get him to sit still.  Fernando is an old pro and knows how to sit and stay, until a squirrel catches his eye - then he's off and nothing can get him back!   Thanks to their Mom, Claudette, for bringing them out in the chilly fall weather!

Portrait | Family | Grandma & Izzy, the Dog

This weekend, I went out to Long Island to shoot a portrait of my Grandmother, who was here on a visit from Florida.  I did a series with her and my Mamiya RZ67 (I'll post them when they're back from the lab), but got in a few on the digital camera as well.  My Aunt & Uncle's new Shih-tzu puppy, Izzy (short for Isabel), was also there and camera ready!  She is a true star.

New York City Pet Portrait | Chase, the dog

Chase, his owner Dana and I had a fun time last weekend trying to get the doggie to sit still! It was much more difficult than I thought it would be! Every time I got close to Chase with the camera, he ran in the opposite direction. Luckily we were able to tempt him with treats and promises of the dog park... Here are a few from the shoot:

This is another little guy we met along the way...

Thanks to Chase and Dana for a fun morning!
