Janice and Jon came out to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden for their engagement shoot.  It was a super humid day, but it doesn't show in the photos!  These two are so sweet together and we had so much fun wandering around the Garden.  I'd never been - it's an amazingly peaceful retreat right in the middle of Brooklyn. We even came across a baby bunny who let me get in close to photograph him having a little lunch!   Congratulations Janice and Jon!  I can't wait for your wedding in August!

Janice and Jon wanted to use an image for their thank you notes, so they brought along a "thank" and a "you" on canvas to include in some of the photos -  this is one of my favorites!

I had the pleasure to meet this little smoosh face today in Brooklyn (check out his cheeks and fat rolls - too cute!).  AJ made his debut on November 28th, 2009 weighing in at 8lbs, 13oz.  Thanks so much to his Mom, Benita, for having me over, sharing some pregnancy & labor advice, and for the supply of diapers to get us started when our little man arrives!  Congratulations Benita & Al!

Stefanie & Eric were married on a beautiful, yet chilly, fall New York day in Prospect Park in Brooklyn.  Their ceremony was held under the Oriental Pavilion.  The guests were invited to fill their custom designed mugs with hot cider or hot chocolate and snack on authentic New York cookies. The design on the mugs is original artwork by the groom!  After a portrait session in the park, we headed over to the Brooklyn Bridge for a few more.  Congratulations Stefanie & Eric!

I met up with Jessica & Steve at their Park Slope apartment last weekend to capture Jessica's pregnancy.  I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding last summer and was so happy to be a part of the next stage of their lives.  Prospect Park and the surrounding streets provided a lovely backdrop!  Jessica is due in a few weeks and I can't wait to meet their new addition!

I met up with Jackson & Kasey, and their parents in Brooklyn's own Prospect Park for their portrait session.  I met their Mom and Dad, Tara & Kyle, when they were guests at Jessica & Steve's wedding in August - Kyle was the best man. We had a ton of fun! Oh and their Aunt was in the process of making them Elvis Presley costumes for Halloween, complete with Elvis glasses (which will explain the last photo!).
