Massachusetts Engagement Photographer | Glen Magna Farms | Hillary + Michael

Hillary and Michael scheduled their engagement session in May in hopes that we could do the shoot outside at a cozy little spot on Rye Beach on the Seacoast of New Hampshire. At the last minute, with terrible weather in the forecast, Hillary was able to work her magic and get us into Glen Magna Farms for a couple of hours (one of my favorite venues!). It probably didn't hurt that they'll be getting married there next summer. But we lucked out - the weather held off for a bit so we could wander the grounds for some of the photos. We ended up inside the house at Glen Magna, which is so cute and full of character - it's the perfect option for indoor shoots when the weather isn't cooperating. Luckily, Glen Magna's coordinator Heather, was willing to double as a human light stand so I could get capture the images in the library and on the sofa! Thanks to Glen Magna, Heather and most importantly, Hillary and Michael for a great afternoon!

Boston Wedding Photographer | Alden Castle | Melissa and Patrick

Last year was great fun for me because I was able to shoot with some amazing Boston photographers. One of them was the insanely talented Mr. Zev Fisher. He asked me to come along to photograph Melissa and Patrick's gorgeous Boston wedding this past December. The ceremony was held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Brookline, MA with the reception following at Alden Castle. It was a beautiful day and I always have a blast working with Zev! Congrats to Melissa and Patrick!

New Hampshire Family Portrait Photographer | The Hibbard's

There's no better way to spend a beautiful spring day then outdoors photographing an amazing family. The Hibbards and I met up at Benson's Park in Hudson, New Hampshire. Benson's Park used to be a wild animal park back in the 70's and 80's. A few years ago, the town renovated the park and now it's a beautiful place with tons of hiking trails, a pond and a great playground for the kids! They still have some of the animal cages, which explains the 4th photo. Kids are like animals, right? Sam, Mary and Dave's son, really wanted to do that shot. I definitely think he'll be a photographer one day!

Mary and Dave are also New Hampshire transplants who said after living all over the United States, this was by far their favorite place. I agreed whole-heartedly. After being here for just about 2 years now, I'm completely in love with this state. Mary and I talked about being a Mom and she warned me that time flies even faster as the kids get older. She said that Abby's freshman year in high school has been the quickest year yet. With my son, Oliver only at age 3, I already feel like time is passing too quickly! This is a great reminder of how important it is to document your family. Before you know it, your children will be all grown up and living lives of their own. It's nice to have a few images of everyone together. Smiling. Laughing. Holding hands. This family obviously enjoys hanging out together. Sam and Abby even get along! I'm so happy I had the chance to get to know the Hibbards and to photograph their love for each other.

Happy Spring everyone!

Classic, Romantic Wedding Photography | New York | Jill + David

Jill and David were married at Our Lady of the Snow Church in Floral Park, New York, with their reception following at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York. I first met Jill and David at Jill's brother's wedding (Chris and Jen) in 2010. As Chris said in his speech, you could tell even then how much these two were in love. It was so nice to join the Damiani family to celebrate yet another special day! Congratulations Jill and David!

Many thanks to Shelly Kroeger for her amazing second shooting skills!

Boston Gay Wedding and Engagement Photographer | Kim + Jennie :: Engaged

One of my best friends in the world, Kim, got engaged to her girlfriend Jennie, this fall. They met almost 7 years ago while at work and it was love at first sight. It's wonderful to see Kim so incredibly happy. I had the pleasure of seeing them this weekend while I was in New York where we did an impromptu engagement session in their brand new, amazing brownstone in Brooklyn. I'm so excited for their wedding, but this time around, I'll be attending the wedding as a guest! Yay! Congrats Kim and Jennie!
