Published | Block Island Wedding Photography| Marina and Paul

Last summer I photographed Marina and Paul's wedding on Block Island for Jennifer Davis Photography.  I was so happy to hear that their wedding is featured in the current issue of The Knot Boston Magazine!

New Jersey Wedding Photographer | Seton Hall/Richfield Regency | Alexis & Rob

Alexis and Rob were married at The Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at Seton Hall with the reception following at Richfield Regency in New Jersey.   I knew from the moment I met them a year and a half ago, that I wanted to be a part of their wedding day.  They were so much fun to talk to, so I was hoping they'd choose me to be their photographer - and they did!  Their wedding day was just as much fun as I thought it would be -- Alexis and Rob are so laid back, so sweet, and obviously incredibly in love with each other!

Thanks to my always amazing second shooter, Jennifer Boyle!

Don't forget to watch Alexis and Rob's slideshow by clicking HERE!

Bright blue shoes on the bride are definitely the way to go!

Congratulations Alexis and Rob!!

New York City Engagement Photographer | Central Park | Jennifer and Ryan

I met Jennifer and Ryan at Central Park last week for their engagement session.  Jennifer mentioned to me that Ryan doesn't like taking photos, and even though Ryan didn't have a chance to take a couple of shots of tequila before the shoot, he did a great job!  All I had to do was ask him to give Jennifer a kiss and give me a smile, and that worked!  We had a lot of fun walking through the park.  I can't wait for their wedding this September at Park Avenue Club in New Jersey!

New York City Engagement Photographer | Brooklyn Botanic Garden | Janice & Jon

Janice and Jon came out to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden for their engagement shoot.  It was a super humid day, but it doesn't show in the photos!  These two are so sweet together and we had so much fun wandering around the Garden.  I'd never been - it's an amazingly peaceful retreat right in the middle of Brooklyn. We even came across a baby bunny who let me get in close to photograph him having a little lunch!   Congratulations Janice and Jon!  I can't wait for your wedding in August!

Janice and Jon wanted to use an image for their thank you notes, so they brought along a "thank" and a "you" on canvas to include in some of the photos -  this is one of my favorites!

Personal | Oliver at 18 weeks

Recently we got the go ahead to feed Oliver rice cereal once a day to get him used to eating from a spoon in preparation for introducing fruits and vegetables to him in a few weeks.  Yesterday, while my husband was feeding Oliver, I snapped a few pictures.  When I was editing them, I put these two photos next to each other and realized how far we've all come in such a short time.  Josh and I both got a little teary-eyed too - even though we were sleep deprived, scared and had no idea what to do with Ollie when we brought him home, it was such an exciting time and we already miss how tiny he was (he was 6lbs, 7oz when we got home, and he now weighs a little more than 17lbs!).  Time really does fly and looking at these photos side by side reminded us to enjoy every moment with him!

The first photo is from Oliver's first day at home.  He was 5 days old and had a bit of jaundice.  The second photo is from yesterday.  He's now just over 18 weeks old.
